Our Romantic Engagement Shoot in Barcelona
Before our wedding at Casa Felix (just outside Barcelona), we were privileged to have an engagement shoot with the super talented Gabby Sütörí in Gaudí’s magical Park Guëll.
One of my favourite places in the city for its fairytale gingerbread-house architecture and panoramic views over the city skyline, it was the perfect place for a romantic shoot.
We went at the end of the day to make the most of those sunset hours and diminishing crowds. I still don’t know how Gabby managed to get these photos that look like we have the park all to ourselves - we definitely had an audience!
I am definitely about as un-relaxed as it gets in front of the camera (picture ironing board levels of stiffness) but Gabby put me so at ease. I also combined the shoot day with my hair and makeup trial chez Teresa Snowball so I felt extra put together.
Here are a handful of highlights from the shoot…
These incredible double exposures were taken with an analogue film camera - some of my favourite photos ever (and no photoshop here).

Are you planning an engagement shoot? I can’t recommend it enough for getting used to posing together and ensuring you feel even more relaxed in front of the camera on your wedding day. Spending a few hours with your love, somewhere meaningful to you both is such a special experience. ♥️
